Sweet Potato with UWEN

INGREDIENTS
- 500 g sweet potato
- 1 tsp thyme (optional)
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1/4 tsp bell pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 tbsp UWEN nutritional yeast flakes
Step 1
Preheat the grill to 200°C.
Step 2
Cut the sweet potato into pieces and set aside.
Step 3
In a large bowl, mix together thyme, rosemary, red pepper, olive oil, and salt.
Step 4
Add the sweet potato pieces to the bowl and toss them in the herb and oil mixture until well coated.
Step 5
Place the sweet potato on the grill and cook for 20-30 minutes, or until the sweet potato is soft and has grill marks.
Step 6
Once the sweet potato is cooked, you have two options for adding the flakes:
- While it is still hot, sprinkle it with the yeast flakes. The heat will melt the flakes and create a cheese-nutty taste.
- Allow the sweet potato to cool slightly, then sprinkle the flakes on top. This will provide a cool and crunchy texture.
