Gnocchi with UWEN

INGREDIENTS
- 400 g ready-made gnocchi
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 2 tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 tbsp. UWEN nutritional yeast flakes
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic
- Fresh basil leaves
- Herbs de Provence (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Step 1
Cook the gnocchi in salted water according to the instructions on the package. Once cooked, drain and set aside.
Step 2
Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the herbs de Provence (if using), minced garlic, and chopped tomatoes (without the skin). Sauté for a few minutes until the tomatoes soften.
Step 3
Stir in the tomato paste and continue cooking over medium heat.
Step 4
Add the yeast flakes to the sauce and combine with the cooked gnocchi.
Step 5
Place the gnocchi on your favorite serving plate, drizzle with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil, and garnish with fresh basil leaves.
Step 6
Sprinkle additional yeast flakes on top for added flavor and presentation.
