Toast with Chickpeas and UWEN

INGREDIENTS
- 2-3 slices of whole grain bread
- 150 g chickpeas (canned or boiled)
- 100 g pumplin puree
- 40 g feta cheese
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 4 tbsp. UWEN nutritional yeast flakes
- Spices to taste
Step 1
In a bowl, mix the chickpeas with spices, yeast flakes, and olive oil.
If using canned chickpeas, make sure to rinse them beforehand. For an extra kick, you can add a little of chili pepper.
Step 2
Place the seasoned chickpeas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake at 190°C for 25 minutes.
Step 3
In a blender, combine the pumpkin puree, feta cheese, and a pinch of salt. Blend until smooth.
Step 4
Spread the pumpkin spread onto the slices of toast, then top with the baked chickpeas.
Sprinkle with additional yeast flakes.
Step 5
Serve and enjoy your delicious toast with chickpeas and UWEN!
